I am beyond excited about this session. Baby K’s big sister was one of my first newborns ever, and I am so thankful to include their beautiful Mama as my friend now. She is the type of friend that will always offer to help you out in whatever way she can, offering an ear, support, and an insanely beautiful smile.
We were originally planning on a Maternity session in the beautiful Squamish scenery, followed up with a studio newborn session, but Covid had other plans for us. We delayed our session, and when restrictions eased, we opted for an in-home lifestyle session, and I am SO glad we did.
There is just something so beautiful about witnessing a family interacting, the curiosity of the siblings, and the love you feel in a home. During a studio newborn session, we get so many beautiful, posed shots, but not so many of the interactions between a family, so this session truly warmed my heart after two months of being cooped up with my own littles.
She had the most gorgeous head of hair, and big eyes, taking everything in. Her sister was the same at her session, both just the most perfect little babes you could ever come across.
Congratulations to the beautiful family, and little Miss R – you’re the best big sis!
Have you thought about an in-home session? I would love to be a part of it. With new safety plans in place, it is an easy session for all involved, and some of the sweetest memories of your new babe in your home for the first time – these images are sure to be cherished.
I’d love to chat with you – contact me here to start planning.
